TOP TEN FACTS ABOUT ME
1.
I’ve been teaching for
about three years now. I have two years of experience teaching 5th
grade, I have a half year experience teaching 3rd grade, and I have
very little experience in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 4th
(I gained that experience when I subbed).
2.
I married my husband on
August 16, 2014. We have been together for 7 years.
3.
I spent 22 years of my
life in a small town near Buffalo, NY. For the past 4 years, I have lived in
Westchester County. My husband and I have made the decision to move back to
Buffalo so we can be closer to family and friends.
4.
I am an introvert. I
stay close to the people I know very well, and tend to shy away from meeting
new people. Hence why I am moving to be closer to family and friends.
5.
I am a perfectionist
and I am my own worst critic. Sometimes it motivates me to do better, but
sometimes it can take me over the edge.
6.
I love to make people
laugh. It is an incredible feeling knowing I was able to make someone smile or
laugh, even if they are laughing at me.
7.
Playing tennis is one
of my favorite things to do. I wish I had more people to play with. I played in
high school and in college.
8.
To connect with #7, I
love watching and playing various sports. I am a huge fan of the Buffalo Sabres
(in fact, my wedding was Sabres-themed). Some of my other favorite teams are:
the Buffalo Bills and the New York Mets. Of course, I also LOVE to watch
tennis. Other than playing tennis, the other sports I like to play are: hockey,
basketball, and baseball.
9.
Watching television in
general makes me extremely happy. I love reality television (Survivor, The
Bachelor/Bachelorette, etc.). Dramas also reel me right in. I am obsessed with
Law and Order SVU and Rookie Blue. Comedies also make me happy, and some of my
favs are: Modern Family, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and New Girl.
10.
Finally, I am an
incredibly anxious and paranoid person. Some may also say I am a hypochondriac.
I am sure you will see a little bit of that throughout my blog J
